Electronic ordering for laboratory tests - pilot underway

We’re pleased to tell you that a pilot of our new electronic laboratory test ordering system (eLab) is currently taking place in a small number of Wellington medical centres. The pilot sites will provide feedback to refine the new system and ensure it is user friendly. Find out more here.

New MRSA culture media brings better results

Better sample isolation and faster turnaround times for some MethicillinResistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) samples are expected following our switch to Oxoid ‘Brilliance’ agar as our microbiology culture media. Find out more here.
